Merco's Built-In
Thermal Shelves offer all the advantages of Merco's freestanding
thermal shelves with the added benefit of a low profile hardcoated
aluminum or stainless steel surface. The
thermostatically-controlled heated base drops into a counter cut-out
while the work surface rests on or flush mount with the counter to
create the low profile appeal that is easy to clean. All
models feature a built-in adjustable thermostat control that lets
you "dial-in" precise warming to extend the holding times of most
food.
Ideal for baked
goods, plate warming, buffet line service, sauces, syrups, pizza,
hot sandwiches, pass-through areas and more. Merco® Built-In
Thermal Shelves are an efficient addition to any foodservice
operation.
Construction . . .
The Merco Built-In Thermal Shelf has a
hardcoated aluminum or stainless steel surface and blanket
type foil elements for uniform heat.
Insulation . . . Fiberglass
insulation keeps heat at the holding surface while a built-in
adjustable thermostat controls surface temperature.
Available as Flush Top
or 1/2" (13mm) Recessed Models . . .
Control Enclosure . . . A 3' (914 mm) flexible
conduit channels the power lines from the shelf to a remote
control enclosure. The control enclosure comes with a
control thermostat with a range of 80° to 181°F (27° to 83°C),
an illuminated on/off switch and mounting brackets. The
attached control enclosure can be mounted remotely up to 3'
(914mm) from the unit. A 6' (1829mm) cord and plug is
attached to easily reach the power source.
Flanged Edge . . . The Built-In Thermal
Shelf has a 3/4" (19mm) flanged edge that allows the unit to
fit into a countertop opening. The Thermal Shelf is easy
to clean with a soft damp cloth or non-abrasive cleaner.
Warranty . . .
Merco equipment is guaranteed to be
free from quality problems in materials and workmanship for a
period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, or eighteen
(18) months from the date of shipment from factory, whichever
comes first. **
